More Mile's R66 2 Running Shoe offers superior cushioning to ensure all day distance comfort

With an ultra-thick and soft Phylon midsole the More Mile R66 2 shoes offer the pinnacle in impact protection. Designed specifically to suit athletes competing in and training for ultra-marathons and distance events, the R66 is suitable for any distance runner looking for extra cushioning, comfort and protection from their footwear. Durable blown rubber is strategically utilised in high impact and abrasion zones on the outsole, specifically on the heel and toe, to provide traction and durability without an undue increase in weight. The thick Phylon midsole overlays the upper with a raised wall, particularly around the heel to add security and rear foot stability so the foot sits within the midsole rather than perched on top.

The breathable moisture wicking upper with a padded and shaped tongue provides immense comfort over those long miles by keeping temperature of the feet regulated whilst drawing moisture away from the skins surface, reducing the likelihood of blisters and discomfort. The thick weave mesh is also incredibly durable meaning the shoes will last as long as you can run in them!

The R66 is the ideal companion for athletes of all abilities and disciplines from the ultra-runner to the road runner looking for that bit more cushioning and protection.

Features:

  • Breathable and durable mesh upper.
  • Upper overlay and raised outsole wall to maximise rear foot stability.
  • Soft, lightly padded and shaped tongue for comfort and security.
  • Phylon midsole for lightweight enhanced cushion.
  • Outsole rubber overlays to improve durability.
  • Toggled lace to fine tune fit.

Never disappointed Review by Mark

I've had quite a few pairs of MoreMile shoes and I have never been disappointed. But people won't buy them because they don't cost enough!
Their fell shoes are as grippy as anything on the market.
These road shoes rival the much more expensive Hoka Clifton's - which have been discontinued.
I anticipate doing many more miles in my MoreMile road shoes. I bought a size the same as my Clifton's. I wonder whether I could have got away with half a size smaller. (Posted on 31/07/2020)

I really do enjoy running in these trainers (avg 50 miles per week) but they are not strng enough at the front. I can usually get through about 100 miles and then the material on either side of the toes starts to erode and split quite early on.I have tried going a size up but i think if you have a wide foot you might find the same problem. It has happened with my last 3 pairs and it is a real shame because i really enjoy running in them. Gutted but if they could sort that out then i would keep buying. (Posted on 19/06/2020)

Size 11.5 fit my normally size 11 feet (as suggested at time of purchase).
Very comfortable. The quality of manufacture is much better than the low price would suggest.
Very pleased. (Posted on 30/05/2020)

I’ve run in these shoes for a couple of months and they’re good! Not the most stylish but for the price unbeatable. No issues with fit - went for half a size up and fit well, laces a bit long but not a big problem. I’ve used the trail shoes a lot and decided to try the road shoes, was sceptical but shouldn’t have worried. The sole is quite soft so I think will wear more quickly but I expect them to last as longs as a ‘normal’ trainer I just won’t wear them after I’ve retired them from running. If you have a normal foot give them a go. (Posted on 19/05/2020)
some reservations Review by Malcolm

Always a worry buying shoes online, but these fit well enough. They seemed a bit stiff to begin with but after a few runs were quite as comfortable as the shoes they replaced, and at that price you can't really complain. However, the soles are wearing down more quickly than I anticipated. I haven't covered more than about 60k and there is appreciable wear on the heels. Just have to see how they go. I was curious to try these as these are very reasonably priced compared to the bigger brands and thought I'd be able to save a bit on running shoes as the sport can be quite expensive when you add up the total costs.
I retired the pair I got after only about 36 miles of running, absolutely no cushioning in them at all, even though they're advertised as all day distance comfort.
I ran a 20 mile long run in them at the weekend and felt like I was almost running barefoot, a day later my right foot was sore and had to take most of a week off running. Also surprised how quickly the sole had worn in such a short space of time.
If you on a tight budget and you're only running short distances theses might be OK, but long distance, forget it. You get what you pay for. (Posted on 26/02/2020)

I can't imagine finding a better running shoe at this price or up to twice this price (and I have tried).
Very comfortable. Light weight despite plenty of cushioning.
Exact size as expected (that is I was worried so went for half a size too big and got 2 shoes exactly half a size too big.) (Posted on 04/11/2019)

I use the shoes for gym exercise rather than running. I have found the shoes really comfortable and I am really pleased with my purchase. (Posted on 31/10/2019)

cheap running shoes but I was so happy with the quality, really comfortable and offer good support and still so lightweight.
I have ran many regular 5 to 10 mile runs in these both on road and off road and the withstand all conditions, I have purchased running shoes at three times the price and I still rate these as better! (Posted on 14/10/2019)
Fine shoe at the price. Review by Anthony

Had 2 of your earlier models and was quite satisfied with them - they gave me a lot of comfortable mileage although the top of the tongue was quite flimsy and rubbed sore the top of my foot and I had to sew parts of an old insole into both pairs which made them just fine. On the latest model shoe I recently purchased from you, you have made the top part of the tongue must thicker which is much better and they are just as comfortable and superb to run in as my previous 2 pairs. The only small complaint is that the black hard outer pieces did come unstuck a bit from the shoe sole and I had to re-stick them with 'Shoo Goo' which did the trick - I've still got some left in the tube in case further repairs are needed on my new pair. I would certainly purchase another pair of R66 2 mens running shoe in the future. (Posted on 05/05/2019)
Surprised Review by Benjamin

I am new to running. Only really forced to because I've recently joined the Army Reserves. Whereas I prefer to spend time lifting weights or cycling.

There's some countryside ear me so I have a pair of Brooks Trail running trainers but I wanted something for the pavement.

I could have gone back to Brooks but I thought I would look around. I noticed More Mile because if I am honest, they are well priced and a bit of research says they are a British brand.

Not really having any clue about what makes a good running shoe I thought I would read some opinions on running forums.

The general consensus was that More Mile make a very good trainer at a good price with people saying due to the price they would buy multiple pairs of the same shoe.

So I decide to buy a pair. They feel great, dry well and are light. I would say they are not a well built perhaps or rather, the materials do not feel as 'expensive' as my Brooks, but the Brooks were three times the cost.

However, I feel like I always tend to opt to wear my More Mile trainers when I just need to wear a pair of trainers for anything. (Posted on 28/03/2019)
